Pregnancy Highlights: How Far Along: 19 1/2 weeks
Anatomy Scan Updates:
Baby measured 18 weeks and 4 days
Heartbeat 153
Weighed 340 grams
Size of baby:
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of an heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 12 pounds
Maternity Clothes: not showing very much, but wearing all maternity clothes for comfort
Gender: Not finding out! I know it's hard to believe, but we are not going to find out the gender ahead of time. It's allowing us to both really enjoy this pregnancy and this season of our lives with only 2 children. This was a good thing today in our anatomy scan, because baby peanut decided to keep his/her legs crossed the entire time
Movement: Feeling little bits of tugging and pushing, but no real movements
Sleep: Not to bad once I get to sleep- My pregnancy C pillow is a life saver again this time. Having to get up to go to the restroom at least once or twice a night
Symptoms: Lots of round ligament pulling and pain, a few cramps after walking or doing too much, had really weird jaw pain for 3 days that didn't allow me to even chew food, but thankfully it's gone away, tiredness is better and nausea has gone away most of the time
What I miss: Sleeping on my tummy!
Cravings: not too many- love grilled cheese, chicken fingers, ice cream every once in a while and San Pelligrino Orange drinks
Best moment this week: Seeing you on the anatomy scan and knowing all is healthy and growing and measuring right-
What I am looking forward to:
Doctors Appointments: Had anatomy scan ultrasound today at Methodist Hospital and had the same ultrasound tech as I did with Trystan- she loved taking pictures and printing them for us and was just as excited to see the little hands, feet crossed, arms moving and strong heartbeat.
