March- off my phone

Trystan was still holding on while walking... But would climb just about anything!

As we prayed about coming to Australia. This bible verse just "happened" to be my verse of the month - God has a plan and a purpose!

Eating at our local Italian restaurant, the owner (good friend) took the kids behind the counter to play

She has started to want to feed herself with spoons

Sitting and waiting on Aunt Lauren for dinner

And she's off!  She started taking more steps before we left and really started walking when we got to Australia- About March 22nd

This is Brayden on the way to bed one evening, stuffed animals in hand

My little handsome boy..picking flowers for Mommy

Loving living in Australia!  The weather couldn't be prettier, the people couldn't be nicer-

One afternoon he refused to take a nap, so as we set out to Target, this is what happened!

And she's walking...purse or bag in hand most of the time

Easter Pictures

We didn't get a picture before church, and when we picked the kids up from service they had given them chocolate easter eggs which were all over the front of them.  So after washing the outfits, we took pictures the next day :)

He Is Risen! Easter Sunday

We were blessed to find a church to go to Easter Sunday to celebrate the One who gives us life!  From a recommendation of a friend (who we haven't actually met yet- but knows some of you), we headed to Subiaco Church of Christ near Perth.  The kids both did great in childrens school and we enjoyed the music and sermon (nothing like The Harvest though :))

After church, we came home to go to lunch in town and then home for much needed naps.

After "naptime", the Easter Bunny had come to our apartment and both kids loved it!  We had thought we would do an egg hunt in the park nearby, but forgot over 4000 people were in the city for the Street Art Festival.

Easter was a bit different for us in Australia- they don't usually die eggs (I couldn't find any dye), we couldn't find Easter baskets when we went looking, they don't have any idea what plastic eggs are, but they have yummy chocolate eggs to hide, carmella koalas, and kindereggs!

And this picture is what you get when you take that huge chocolate bunny away from a 16 month old!

We hid the resurrection eggs and did them as a whole bunch this year- it was still a little much for Brayden to really comprehend all of it at once

Cottesloe beach... First steps in the Indian Ocean

We ventured down to a gorgeous beach about 10 min away from us- the air temp was perfect! The water temp was a bit chilly :). It took Trystan a bit to like the sand.

The water is clear and turquoise green/blue- we met a nice man who gave us the name of a couple other beaches to try on the river side
