Early Christmas Gift...amazing!

My sweet and amazing and talented hubby has been working tirelessly for about a month to cut out, paint, and put together a nativity scene for our front yard!  He's done and it's beautiful!  I couldn't thank him enough for a gift we will treasure and put out for many years to come!

I'll post pics of it at night later, but just had to share!

Kelbie came to visit

We had the privledge of Kelbie coming to visit Monday morning while her Mommy ran some errands...Brayden was in heaven!  A bit of jealousy was apparent, but he enjoyed being with her.

Feeding her bottle...this lasted about 30 seconds
 A kiss on her cheek
snuggling under her "Grankie" (what Brayden calls his blanket)

She finally got some peace and quiet and fell asleep!

Brayden's 1st Christmas Tree

We almost always decorate for Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving...we make ourselves wait to do it!  And I wait for my Christmas music as well!

This year we set up a tree in Brayden's game room and he and Nant Lauren decorated it together.  He loves turning it on each morning.

Thanksgiving 2010

We are constantly amazed at all of the things we are Thankful for in our lives!  How blessed we are!  We were blessed to be able to spend Thanksgiving with all sides of our family again this year.  It seems like a whirlwind, but it's worth it!

watching Grandaddy carve the turkey on Thursday

 Cousins
Look at that adorable bow on such a precious baby girl!
In Beaumont for Thanksgiving #2 on Friday- the Turkey cupcakes Petria and Aunt Linda made

Eating the turkey leg with Apple Bake
And then eating I think 2 of these cupcakes with Daddy
Thanksgiving dinner at Great-Gammy and Great-Grandaddy's house...

We usually sit around and watch football after we eat, but Josie was telling us that she and her family take a walk...so that's what we did!  And we all enjoyed it!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Family Pics with the Beckmans

We took Debbie and Don's Christmas card pictures Thanksgiving Day and I think we got a few good ones...

A morning with Apple Bake and Josie

Apple Bake had said he wanted to take Brayden for a fun adventure.  They ended up at an indoor inflatable jump place and Brayden LOVED it!  I sent the camera and got these fun pictures of their fun time together.

Turkey Shaped Cinnamon Rolls

I found this simple recipe in one of Brayden's magazines and knew we had to make them with "Apple Bake" (Uncle Blake), Ms. Josie, and "Nant Lauren" (Aunt Lauren).

Putting up Gran's Christmas Tree

One of our Christmas traditions near and dear to my mothers heart, is that she waits until all of her babies are home to put up her Christmas tree.  Most years it goes up at Thanksgiving time, some years it's been the week or few days before when we got home from college.  As she says, "It's more important to her that we are all here to do it together as a family then when it gets put up!"

This year, Mom got a new tree to go with her new house and we were all home for Thanksgiving!
