Trystan- 3 months old

 3 Month Stats:
Not sure, we forgot to weigh you at home

Dear Trystan,
You have blessed our life more than imaginable!  To see you and your brother smiling at each other means more than anything in the world to Daddy and I.  Your sweet little laugh is amazing!  Such a blessing!  You are a great sleeper, very rarely cry unless you are wet or hungry and love to be held and cuddled with.  We are now trying to do story time in Brayden's bed at night and you just love listening to us read books and bible stories.

- Sleeping: You are still a great sleeper!  Thank you!  You are in bed between 8 and 8:30 p.m. and are sleeping until 4 ro 5 a.m.  Mommy and Daddy couldn't be happier.  You are still sleeping in the cradle in our room- need to order a new monitor so we can move you upstairs.  You are still napping a little after each feed/play time, and if things are going well, you will take a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.
- Eating: You are eating every 3 hours. You are still breastfeeding and taking the bottle each feed during the day.  In the early morning, you are content just breastfeeding.
- Clothes and Diapers: Wearing size 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers

- Favorites: This month you started laughing and smiling a lot more!  You love to laugh, but get the hiccups every time you're done laughing.  Your smiles are contagious!

- Firsts:
1/30 first upper respitory infection/ possibly RSV :(
1/30 2 month shots- did very well with little tears
2/6 reached for your toys on the bouncy chair and played with them
2/10 laughed outloud for the first time- what a beautiful sound
2/11 started sleeping 6 hour stretches at night- usually 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
2/16 double ear infection
2/17 found your hands and you LOVE to suck on them
2/18 finally found the fan to look at and you get the biggest smile when you find it!
2/20 sleeping 8 hour strectches 10-6 a.m.
2/22 laughed and smiled at your brother when he bounced you in the bouncy chair

Director for the Day and "Early" Birthday Celebration

Once again, through a donation for the school's fundraiser, Brayden was able to be Preschool Director for the Day.  He was in HEAVEN!  He stayed with Mrs. Karen all day long and never asked to go back to his classroom.  To make sure we didn't miss it, we celebrated his summer birthday "Early" on this same day.  Next year we will do it on his half birthday.

Gran came to help with litte T and love on this special kiddo

Birthday Song- dropping 4 quarters in the bank for how old he will be

Oh My!  Makes every pain of raising a toddler worth it to see this precious sight of him praying during the birthday prayer!

And the pictures Christy sent me after the day...

Karen said they asked him to pick up the phone for a picture and he said "there's no one on the phone"  so they called us and we got to talk to him!  He was so excited!

Rodeo Days at School

Yee Haw!  Brayden had the best time to Rodeo Days at school.  I was co-chair of it this year and really enjoyed putting this one on.  The preschool director did more than half the work, so it was an easy thing to accomplish and setup.  And a TRUE joy to see the smiles on the kids faces all day.

 Our little cowboy
Immediately wanted to lasso- he will do this with ANYTHING he can find at home! We think his love for this stemmed from a rodeo birthday party he went to in December :)

Then they decided to lasso a hay bale...

And all 7 kids in the class got involved
Mrs. Tracy, his fabulous teacher, show him how to lasso the horse

 So proud of himself!
